    Why are there alot of Xbox One X's out there with E101, E102, etc codes???


    Why are there alot of Xbox One X's out there with E101, E102, etc codes? I ran into this myself and that's usually a strong indicator of a bad hard drive but that wasn't the case on mine. What is faulty on these system's that are having this issue? I've
    seen many unabled to be flashed/updated via thumb drive not to mention putting a new partitioned drive in mime as well. Bad sata cables? Bad sata ports on the board? Ive seen this problem and its very common on the web but no one has answered what is causing
    it. Im a trch nerd and love fixing things snd hate it when i cant figure something oit so i gotta know!

    stuck in update loop

    I am in the Xbox preview and my Xbox is set to auto update. It is currently stuck in an update loop and giving error E101 and E102.

    I have tried hard resetting which fails, I have tried offline update OSU1, OSU2 and OSU3 along with the offline factory reset all of which fails.

    System error: E101 00000504 8B050041

    OS Version: 16299.3033

    RS3 release Xbox Dev 1710.171018.1900

    Console ID: 77146892.efdc8b73.6316b2b2.6779e001.01

    Are you actually having an issue with an error code? Which is the error code you get?

    Well, my Xbox One X doesn't do it. The problem with seeing "a lot" of such issues on the internet is, that only the people having that issue are posting on the internet.

    No one is going to post something like "Hey guys, guess what, I turned my Xbox One X on today, and it did NOT show any error. It just worked! I'll post again tomorrow if the console still works flawlessly."

    So if you search for that specific error, you'll ONLY find people that ask about that error, giving you the impression that it's a common issue, which it isn't.
