    Why are there 2 versions of GTA V in Game Pass App and what's the difference ?


    I bought the Game Pass and downloaded the App.

    A few days ago they released GTA V in the Game Pass.

    However I noticed two differents versions of GTA V, they have different descriptions. On the left, let's call it A, is called GTAV (Xbox one) and the other, B, is called GTAV (Series S|X) which was apparently a 'bundle' of Story Mode and GTA online.

    I played on cloud, with A, which synchronized data with my Series S. When I launched B by accident, it had a Menu before you could play Story Mode (which I was playing) and it played the mission Prologue. When I wanted to load my save, it wasn't showing. However when I launched A it still had it.

    So why is there two GTA V and why won't they merge it?

    What are the differences between the 2?

    Bro exactly my problem!!!

    In GTAV I got my garages and business the same as GTA Online (Cloudgaming).

    I had to transfer mu data to GTA Online.

    But now Im playing the original game, GTAV and I dont have the same bankaccount as in GTA Online.

    My character also wears different clothes so the same account (GTAV) is not merged with the GTAOnline account...

    Somebody have a good and intelligent response to this? Please dont come with a crappy, basic answer u copied from another post.

    Not a Microsoft employee.

    The game developer (Rockstar Games), decided to release a new version of GTA V (Next gen), this new version allows players on Xbox Series X|S to play the game up to 60 FPS + graphics enhancements and more if we compare it with the Xbox One edition.

    Unfortunately, each saved progress is independent between editions, so if you play the Xbox One edition, and then you choose to play the next gen, you are going to start from the beginning (and vice versa).

    We need a little more information on what you're experiencing so we can better help you in getting this issue resolved.

    I see you mentioned GTA V past install won't play. Were you playing it through a Game Pass subscription? GTA V was removed from Game Pass about a week ago. If you bought GTA V and are trying to play it, you may need to remove the Game Pass version of the
    game, then re-install the game from your All Owned Games section in Games and Apps on your console.
