    Why Are Some Alpha Insiders Not Getting The New OS & Store But Others Are?


    I've been in the preview program for 4 years+ and I'm a pretty high level, who gives detailed feedback so when I saw a bunch of players and YouTubers giving their feedback on the latest Xbox updates I was confused. Even a week later after other insiders have gotten it I didn't see it. I've repeatedly checked for system updates and everything says its up to date. As an Alpha Insider, it is our unpaid job to help improve Xbox Live via our feedback and we've always had the perks of making the most difference because we got the updates the earliest which is when feedback matters the most. Can someone explain the reasoning behind this decision? Thanks. [Situation]

    I'm not allowed to share my opinions on the topic, otherwise it will be removed as a rant. This is a repost that doesn't include my opinion, so I am not in any violations of the rules. [My Non-Opinon]

    Erm..........................am I missing something here?

    Your saying that the latest version of the Xbox OS has bricked your external HDD?

    HOW?

    How could that possibly happen?

    Nothing about the system OS goes onto the external HDD, so why would it brick it?

    Also I've been in the Insider program for a couple of years (think I'm an Alpha Insider) and nothing on my system has been bricked and like I said I'm an Alpha Insider so I get really dodgy OS's.

    The "new" Edge is currently only available to Alpha Skip Ahead Insider preview members.

    Insider issues are handled by Reddit Xbox Insiders forum. This forum is for General release OS issues.

    Edit.. As of 22nd July "new" Edge is available to Alpha, Beta, Delta Insider previews so it is getting closer to a General release.

    august xbox 2020 update

    The new update is only out for some Alpha & Alpha skip ahead insiders at the moment.

    If you're in the Omega ring then you'll probably be the last ring to get the update before it's released to everyone.

    Am a bit confused are you meaning Xbox insiders program alpha ring or skip ahead ? That is for testing os And can be fun and has so many different thing appearing on the insider program to test games and other features.
