    Why are some accounts with super offensive names not getting removed?


    Im playing Grand Theft Auto and some guy joins the group chat party with a swastika as his gamertag. He said he’s been reported tons of times and nothing has happened to him. Is there tags microsoft dont recognize or something?

    I am wondering why the xbox team changed my online name because of a offensive name apparently. Why would they change it for you??? Why not force the change of a name when the person logs in??? Now you have to pay $11 for a bloody name change because
    xbox decided to change it which is bs tbh, i rather that then getting a [Mod Removed – Profanity] made up bot name
    The used to allow you to change your gamertag for free when it was deemed offensive but too many people took advantage if that and changed their gamertag to something just as equally offensive. Due to this they now force change your name to a randomly generated
    gamertag and then make you pay to change it again after that.

    Unfortunately that was a case of the few ruining it for the many.

    Exactly because of the number combination I already assumed that the names could be taken multiple times.
    The name restriction on the name Fjay seems completely absurd. I can take the name pdFjay for example... but FJAYpd is offensive?

    Is there no way to appeal this restriction?

    Why can nobody (not even the support team) tell me why the name is meant to be offensive? I would really like to have some clarifiaction other than: it might be offensive or whatever...

    That just makes no sense to me why would some get to appeal a first Offense, and why wasnt I given any information on the offensive?
