You would need to contaxt Microsoft Rewards support via the contact link at the bottom of the Rewards site.

You are right. I accidentally purchased $5 in GEARS currency. Can I refund this?

Keep in mind the currency must be the same so if you are adding us account but adding cad currency that won't work
