    Why are my gift card purchases not showing up in my account?


    In the past week for my birthday, i redeemed 3 gift cards, 2 v-bucks cards & 1 apex coin card, neither of them have shown up in my account when i log in?! How long do i wait for them to process? Never had an issue with it in the past of being in my account immediately!!

    Hi and thanks for reaching out. I hope you’re doing well. I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you and I'll be happy to help you.

    If you redeemed gift cards for virtual currency, it's expected that the funds should show up in your account immediately. If they are not appearing, it could be due to a technical issue or a delay in processing.

    Kindly try the steps below and see if it helps;

    Please try to resync your Xbox profile to your console by following the steps below. Make sure that you know your account logins before doing these steps.

    REMOVE PROFILE:

    To remove a profile: From Profile & system, select Settings > Account > Remove accounts. Select a profile, then select Remove.

    POWER CYCLE CONSOLE:

    1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

    2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

    Important Be sure to wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

    3. Plug the console power cable back in.

    4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

    RE-ADD PROFILE:

    To add an Xbox profile to a console, press the Xbox button to open the guide and go to Profile & system. Select Add or switch, and then select Add new and follow the instructions.

    It does not show up in my order history, but when I look up the account balance the amount does include the gift card was added. When I go to purchase a game to use the money in the account balance it doesn't show the new gift card amount.

    So why is it that you are not allowed to gift shark cards. You can gift anything else but shark Cards. I have unused credit in my microsoft account but the only thing played is gta v and i want to buy shark cards for that game. But I can only purchase
    it for my own account. I cannot transfer it nor can I buy a gift card with my credit even tho I purchased the gift cards myself to put on the account. And now im being told GTA V SHARK CARDS CANNOT BE GIFTED !!! Why !!??!?! Please help
