why are my games on the xbox PC app taking so long to download. Its not my internet either

According to a user who posted a solution to a similar issue:

"1. Open PowerShell as administrator.

2. Enter this command -> netsh interface tcp show global.

3. For me, the "Receive Window Auto-Tuning Level" was set to disabled.

4. To enable it, enter this command -> netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal

5. You can enter the command at step 2 to validate that the Auto-tuning is set to "normal"

Launch the Xbox app and start the download again."

I don't understand why gt5 taking so long to download its been 3days and my internet is at a 100% and I made sure I have enough room for the game this not right someone please help Xbox one

I believe the reason it kept taking me to the PC Microsoft store is because I needed to download the Xbox app. For some reason I didn't have it installed. Once I loaded the app I had to install the game on my PC from there to play. It's very strange. Plus I think Minecraft is not a cloud gaming game. Its either console only or PC only. That's why it charged me again. Wish I new this before. Had to figure this out on my own.

I'm on gigabit internet as well.

Xbox app on PC is the only slow app when it comes to downloads. Consistently caps out at about ~22MBPS (~175mbps) where as plenty of other game launchers such as Steam/Uplay/Battle.net pull upwards of ~100MBPS (~800mbps). I'm on a gigabit connection. Why is the Xbox app so slow to download and install games? Its pathetic.

hmm..have you tried restarting the Ipad and reinstalling the xbox app? If so I would look in the network settings but Ive had this issue before when I was on the pc. It may either be your internet or its the APP it self being buggy. but I would try these
and if it doesnt work LMK, and I will do my best to assist you further ^_^

Tried both, no luck all my other apps seem to be fine, so i dont think its my internet
