Why am I unable to play xbox gamepass games using my playstation dualsense controller?

Yes, it is supposed to work because I can use PS4 controllers on my pc and there's a PlayStation app that support dualshock/dualsense. There's even a PlayStation app to update your PlayStation firmware devices.

Thank you for posting on the Xbox Communities Forum. This forum only provides technical support for Xbox devices and services.

However, I am aware that DualSense controllers only work via USB on Windows PCs, PlayStation don't officially support Bluetooth connection for Windows.

I use a PlayStation 5 DualSense controller, which seem to be compatible since it was an advised controller from several blog articles and, more importantly, which with I could have played for several minutes without any problem before the bug appears.

The same problem here using PS5 Dualsense, the mouse cursor appeared on the left side of the screen and I can't play the game anymore, the controller doesn't work.

I tried to contact Xbox Support, but they don't know how to help.

I've played with Dualsense for a week without any problem.

Probably we will have to wait for the Mouse / Keyboard support on Cloud Gaming or try to create a new Xbox account.

DS3 is Dark Souls 3, I am playing it through steam and no it had the issue the moment I connected it to my pc. I am unable to use the Xbox Accessories App to update my controller because it does not recognize a controller being connected. When I look in my device manager the controller is labeled "HID-compliant game controller" I am able to deactivate it and it deactivates my controller. But it seems that Xbox Accessories doesn't register my controller properly even if my computer does. I am also unable to use my Xbox Elite 2 controller with steam but it works with other games. I've already updated both controllers using my Xbox One S.
