    Why am I not allowed to join my friend’s Minecraft world when I play on switch?


    I play on a Switch, I bought Minecraft on my switch and Have a Microsoft account. I already tried to reset my switch and redo the wifi router. I don’t understand, I play Minecraft on a switch and my Friend plays on a playstation 5. Whenever I try to join his world it says “Unable to join world” and when I make a word so he can join me. He gets stuck on the loading screen. Something big is happening here to cause this problem.

    Have you enable Multiplayer Settings in your Microsoft Account?

    Are you able to play with other players?

    Please, change your connection DNS on Nintendo Switch and try again.

    Select Settings > Internet > Select your network from the list of networks located under Registered Networks.

    Select Change Settings > Select DNS Settings > Select Manual.

    Select Primary DNS > Enter 8.8.8.8 as the primary DNS, and then select OK.

    Select Secondary DNS > Enter 8.8.4.4 as the secondary DNS, and then select OK.

    Restart your console.

    So... it appears you're having problems connecting to your friends worlds in Minecraft for Windows 10.

    I would have them check their in-game settings in Minecraft under the main menu there, and make sure that Online play is enabled. Sometimes this is switched to being disabled and therefore they cannot join any online games and friends cannot join their game
    either. Both you and your friends should check in Minecraft settings and make sure that Online play is enabled and friends are allowed to join. Then you can select which permissions you would like to enable for your friends when they join your world after
    that.

    Hi I've been playing Minecraft on ps4 with my friend who plays on switch, I can see everyone as online and Join their worlds just fine, However when they try to join me It doesn't let them accept my invites and It also doesn't show me as online. I have restarted my router my play station and my friend has other ps4 players join their world so I know it's a problem on my end. I haven't a clue why it's happening but it would like it to be resolved
