    My Crossplay setting is enabled. But one doubt I have is I own Xbox series version of game whereas my friends own Xbox one version of the game

    Thank you so much Josef for your response. So you are saying I can only play online friendlies with fellow Series version FIFA 23 game players and not with some one who owns a Xbox One version of the game. So the only way to play with my friends who has Xbox One version of the game is to buy the game again!

    Hi Shiva, yes
    For this specific game you need to have the Xbox one version in order to play with your friend(s) on Xbox one

    Sorry to say but is not possible to cross-play between the Xbox Series X/S version of the game and the Xbox One version

    Xbox one players can only cross play with PS4 players :c

    Xbox FIFA 23. Unable to play against friend even though they have been added to my friend list. When I attempt to set up friendly, says I need to add friends.

    Hi there. Many thanks for the above. I have followed those steps but have the same issue.

    He does have active friends on his friends list but when attempting to play an online friendly still get the following message:

    Add friends to be able to play against them and track your season history in online friendlies
