    I’ve been trying to update my Xbox and it keeps just saying there was a problem with the update

    Hi, Max. My name is Ron, I'm an independent advisor. I will be more than happy to help you.

    Please try setting up a mobile hotspot connection using your phone, then connect the console to the hotspot connection. Try updating your console after that and see if it works.

    If that doesn't work, try a complete power cycle by doing the steps below.

    1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

    2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

    Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

    3. Plug the console power cable back in.

    4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.

    HI i am from pakistan karachi i have the same problem last week my xbox one give update after update then restart and again connect to internat & give message your console ban yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy what is this i dont know why is my xbox ban ???

    I am having the same exact problem. I took the 250 GB HD and the system could update. I have deleted the profile, system cache and all of that good stuff and still I am unable to update. I am going to try doing the update using my other hard drive but
    I am getting really tired of having this problems, this is not a new product, the 360 is an old product could you have figure out how to put a more friendly message instead of a random string of numbers?

    I hope this fixes the problem, but there are other problems that can trigger that error that is not connection. Also why would connection be an issue if the xbox knows there is an update that it needs to apply??? wouldn't that just rule out the connection
    problem?
