Why am I getting error code 0x803f9006 when I am signed in and have an active subscription?

I am having the same issue: I signed up to EA Access and its showing as active on my subscriptions. I have signed in however when I try to actually play the game after installing I get the message 'do
you own this game or app' with error code 0x803F8001

Have you bought the game or were you playing it through Game Pass? The game was removed from Game Pass so if you didn't purchase it, you would need to in order to keep playing it.

I just hard restarted my xbox by powering it off and then unplugging the power cord for 30 seconds. I have wiped the cache, and now I am getting an error that I have gotten before that says "The person who bought this needs to sign in" "sign in with the
progile used for purchase, or buy a copy from the Microsoft Store. (0x803f9006)" However, I am logged in, and can see online friends etc...

If this is how a $500 piece of technology is going to work, I am going to simply take it back and get a refund. I have no problems going to PC and playing.
