why am i getting billed for a game that i bought a month ago on per order!!!!

wow really! they dont have a number anymore. thats nuts! and i didn't know that when you pre order its billed like that. i broke my foot at work and am on a very tight budget. guess i just have to deal with it thank you for the feed back.

If you pre-order with a credit card or Paypal, you are not charged until within 10 days of release of the game. It makes it easier if you want to cancel.

If you pre-order with your Microsoft account balance, you are charged immediately.

and your request a call back is no where on that link!!! all it does is send me to the same page that doesn't help!

Has it double charged you? Check your transaction history on your account and see if it charged you before. Amd undersupport theres an option for microsft to call you to talk to a rep.

The answer to your question is very simple.

Microsoft does not bill for pre-ordered games until about 10 days before the game launches. Let's say you pre-ordered Anthem, which releases on 22 February, or about 9 days from today. If you pre-ordered it on New Year's Day, you wouldn't be charged for
it until about this time. This is to protect you in case the game is delayed or (at worst) cancelled.

If you were to pre-order the game today, however, you would indeed be charged immediately. Also, if you pre-order using exclusively Microsoft account funds, you will be charged immediately for that purchase. Otherwise, if you're using an attached payment
method, you don't get charged until the game is about to launch.

You can confirm this against your bank statement. Refer back to the date you ordered the game (this is shown in your purchase history on your Microsoft account) and you should see no charge for the game then.
