    Why am I getting a BSOD when I launch a game that uses Easy Anti Cheat?


    When I try to launch Apex Legends, Battlefield 2042, or Elden Ring it causes a blue screen crash. The error message I get varies a bit:

    DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

    ATTEMPTED_EXECUTE_OF_NOEXECUTE_MEMORY

    PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

    I was able to play these games on my PC back in February without issue. I have made sure that I have the latest updates for Windows, the latest drivers, and I updated my BIOS. I have tried running a Apex after doing a clean boot. I even reinstalled Windows. I did the Windows mem test to make sure my RAM was okay.

    After all that I still get a blue screen crash whenever I try to launch one of these games. EA support was no help and Easy Anti Cheat has not responded to me.

    Hello again, I don't know if you have a mounted machine (hybrid) or a branded pc, but you should consider that this could be a hardware problem.

    I went through all those steps except for resetting Windows since I already have done that. The last Blues Screed error was: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

    This is a PC I built myself. I have swapped out RAM, swapped in my old GPU, and I have done a prime 95 test with no errors. I even swapped in a new motherboard and did a clean install. I feel like I have ruled out most of the hardware issues at this point. I have no other issues except for the BSOD when launching a game with EAC
