    Why am I disconnected from server over 90% of the time with Forza/Xbox OneX?


    I have 100/10 speed, 24 latency, 1480 MTU and zero packet loss.

    And yet when I go home right now for lunch and try to do multiplayer, I can all but guarantee I will get "disconnected from server" every single time I try, which will be 40-50 times in an hour.

    Doesnt seem to matter what day, time of day, etc. I am real close to returning box and game, I still can. I just dont understand this.

    Disconnected from Server 90% of the time.

    I have Xbox OneX and Forza 7 and I paid the live subscription.

    Wifi connection 100/10 speeds, 24 ms latency, 1480 MTU and zero lost packets.

    95 out of 100 attempts to do live racing or multiplayer results in "disconnected from server"

    I connected by hard wire a WiFi extender to the Xbox, exact same results.

    Multiplayer and Leagues are useless to me at this point, before I return the player and game, any suggestions?

    So are you complaining about the Xbox One or the EA servers that are disconnecting you?

    Hi Courage,

    Thanks for updating us with your reply. Sorry to hear that you've been unable to enjoy the game play in Forza Horizon 4 due to disconnection. When you receive the message concerning disconnection, is it from Xbox Live or from the Forza servers? Also, does
    this happen with any other games, or just Forza Horizon 4?

    If you're getting disconnected from Xbox Live, then I recommend using the Xbox One Disconnect Solution to pinpoint what the issue may be
    and get your connection back to correct working order.

    Should you be getting disconnected from the Forza servers, then I would recommend the following troubleshooting articles to see if any of the information is helpful:

    It may also be worth your while to reach out to the friendly folks over on the
    Forza Motorsport Forums as they may be more familiar with the issue concerning your points. We here on the Xbox forums sadly lack the tools to directly assist with that.

    Interent Connection is Dropping for Live

    Nothing... It seems to drop only when I try to download stuff.

    Other times it is completely random when I am playing games...

    But 90% of the time with downloads it will freeze the download for 5-10 minutes without progressing then disconnect me from XBL.

    When you downloaded your profile the two times, did you delete it first and clear the cache on your XBox before you redownloaded it?

    It appears that when disconnected from Xbox live I still am connected to the internet on the Xbox. Why??? I was updating avatar and while making changes Xbox disconnected me from Xbox live but I was still able to change avatar and save it. After saving it
    signed me back into my Xbox live account.

    WTF!

    I'm definitely leaning at an issue on Microsoft's end either server related or a recent update to the Xbox 360 itself.
