Why after a update while trying to login call of duty the game get stuck at looking for...

I use the Xbox console and yes the issue only happens after an uodate to call of duty!

It is possible that the game has been corrupted during the update.

If I may ask, may I know which platform device are you playing the game, is it on Windows PC or Xbox console?

Also, does the update error occurs in other Xbox games as well or just specifically for Cal of Duty?

Just went throug the process of resetting my console and before that deleting my account and then recovering it BUT neither suggestion has solved my Xbox S problem of launching COD modern warfare the console never had this problem until I was forced to unsubscribe from gamepass because of the extra expense! The game starts normally up to the point it searches for updates and stops with the option of retrying that always returns to the same exact spot! Does ANYONE have a fix that doesn't involve throwing the console through the wall LOL?

Last night and again this morning (todays date 6/29/2023) was the first occassion I've had to try your suggested fix for whatever is going on whenever I try to logon to COD Modern Warfare! Are there any other suggestions other than just canceling my subscription?

Kindly try to perform the following troubleshooting steps:

Please remove your Microsoft account from your console > restart your console > re-add your Microsoft account > then check to see if it works here's how to remove your account:

1.Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

2.Select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Remove accounts.

3.Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm.

> Then restart your console and proceed with re-adding your account. You've got nothing to worry as this will not delete your saved data progress.

Once you're done, check if the game is still stuck for an update.
