why 1440p doesn't appear on my xbox one x?

on my desk i have an 43' lg 4k uj635v(2017) and i have connected a desktop and a xbox one x

desktop pc has a gtx960 card and i can select resolution 2560x****60hz)

on xbox one x i went in dashboard at settings,display&sound,video output and at resolution it shows 4k,1080p,720p

so 1440p is missing

what do i do? cause it's same tv and on desktop works 1440p res.

my tv suport 60hz,not 120hz but i don't want 120hz 1440p...i want 60hz 1440p

Hi,

Great that you've got this to work, but why do you want to?

You have a 4K TV, 4K is the TV's native resolution. If you use 1440P the TV will have to scale the image down, it won't look as good as 4K.

Unless you're using freesync, which you cant do at 60Hz, there is zero benefit of 1440 on 4K displays. The One X isn't a PC, you won't get better framerates at lower resolutions.

As stated on the Support Page, 1440p is 120hz, not 60hz

Did it appear like that? Try contacting official support if you see that the Xbox One X has some missing features.
