    Let's face it. NO ONE WANTS TO PAY TO PLAY. Soon enough, if Microsoft keeps this up, all the Xbox Live Gold stuff in order to play with other people, no one will use Xbox. Post here if you want the same as me. #FREEXBL

    Live has been a paid service since 2002. Obviously enough people want to pay for it to keep it going.

    Word of mouth rumor that Microsoft may have free XBOX live announced at E3. Just a rumor so who knows. Someone else posted it in the forums here. So maybe the policy changes? But if you want more free games with gold then you need to buy gold. But maybe
    games with gold games wont be rentals after LIVE goes free? Wait and see I guess.

    What do you even mean by that? No one is paying for playing Fortnite on their devices except Xbox One. Guy's asking only for Fortnite to be made 'free-to-play' on Xbox Live. He is not asking for the whole Xbox Live
    Gold thing to be made free. No one is BEGGING for that! He just wants to play Fortnite for free without paying a dime (apart from his electricity and internet bills) like everyone else out there is doing who doesn't own an Xbox One.

    That means less people playing with the Xbox console. Xbox Live Gold is not that cheap, so people want to play a free game that is actually free. Microsoft allows pc players to play Fortnite Battle Royale for free...
    PCs do not connect via Xbox Live. There are tens of millions of Xbox Live Gold subscribers, and many of them play Fortnite, and, like everyone else, they will move on to another game when its popularity wanes. The game is indeed free-to-play provided you meet
