Who else pre-order Forza H2

I was on the fance about this game. But after playing the demo i went to the XBOX store and pre-order it. Great Move by MS to bring out the demo before the game comes out.

I pre-ordered myself a 2TB model at Amazon yesterday and can't wait for it. Might change it to Bestbuy later on though. Who else here pre-ordered theirs ?

I did so couple of weeks ago from EB Games. It's fully paid off. Just waiting for September 30, or it's release. The store gives me a phone call "hey buddy, the games ready for you to pick up", sweet

 

i cant decide. do i pre order from simply games for £39 and get it 5 days early and buy the VIP pack for £7 and season pass for £19 or do i get the digital deluxe edition for £60 or the ultimate edition for £74

 

If I pre order on store do I pay now or release day

 

Yep but just the standard digital copy. Don't feel like I'll need extra cars to enjoy the game.

 

I might pre-order this one digitally. I'm blown away by the demo. The game looks gorgeous. I have a feeling i'll be putting a lot of hours into this one and the price, £45 on the UK store is OK (I was fully expecting it to be £55 like most other games).

Can't believe we (in the UK) have to wait till October 3 before we can play it! BOOOOO!!!!

 

The release date for Australia and New Zealand is also been pushed back... to 02 October 2014. Checked JB Hi Fi and EB Games NZ/Aussie websites and it's 02 October not 30 September. Game devs unable to meet deadlines? Or just the distributing?

I think they get the games at least a day earlier but are not allowed to sell it until perhaps a day later otherwise the retailer is violating some sort of agreement. I've seen stickers on new release games in DSE stores saying something like this game is
not allowed to be sold by [mentioned date]. Doing so violates some sort of trade agreement. Halo 4 for 360 released as M (Australian classification) but the NZ government decided to rate it R13 (they were late at rating it) the following weekend after it came
out which means I cant sell my physical copy because it needs to have the R13. The retailer JB got lots of complaints and sent out R13 stickers to customers. Some of them including me didn't get them cuz they ran out and it costs about $1000 to rate the game.
I could always get another copy. I don't think FH2 will get an R rating here though.

Already own "Forza" so why would I need "Forza"?

Sure there's some different stuff... but not enough to be making a new game out of.

"Forza" used to be a game about cars and racing but has been dumbed down so much that there's little incentive to play.

Drivatars were a great idea, but 3 - 4 lap races where you have to bash and crash your way to the front spoil this innovative feature.

 

I'll just be renting it. I kind of agree with Az. Plus I'm more of a NFS guy.

 

Forza Horizon 2, pre-ordered.

 

Preordered and installed just have to wait for the 30th for it to be playable

 

I really liked the first Horizon game, much more than the actual Forza games themselves.

But I think i'll probably wait a while on this one, till its a bit cheaper or later on down the road.

I'll definitely get it eventually but there are so many games coming out in October and November I'm kind of having to pick and choose the best first.
