Who else is sick and tired of buying half finished, practically unplayable games?

I'm just havin a bit of a rant here because it seems to me that over the last few years, pretty much all of the games I have purchased for xbox one have been unplayable on the launch date due to them having performance issues and needing an immediate patch.

Project cars - horrendous

Assetto Corsa - flawed

The crew - unplayable

Just to name a few.

What has happened to the games market these days. Where has the testing etc all gone and why do Microsoft (& other platforms) allow people to launch such poor products without them being completed first.

I live miles from most towns so I usually purchase my games via direct download but I'm getting tired of paying a small fortune for games that just simply do not work correctly and there is no option to refund!

I know I could wait to see what the reviews are but generally I like to be there on launch day to get stuck in and frankly I don't think I should have to wait for the developers to iron out the issues as they should be fit for purpose from day one. No other
industry would be so tolerant.

These connection issues are getting old already...

Im sick and tired of this crap. Im giving serious thought to trading in my xboxone. I refuse to pay any further for something that doesnt work when i neec it to the most. Playing xbox one on the weekends is practically impossible. What the hell do we pay
for??? Why are the servers always so bad? No wonder xbox one sales are so poor. Im never buying anything microsoft related again!! Im sure im not the only one who ferls the same....keep this up and ure days are numbered.

You're not the only one, to be honest; expect this to be a yearly thing as these sort of company earns from these sort of mishaps.

They do this intentionally to make customers call the support line to which they earn as well.

 

When we the consumer stop paying for these games they will stop releasing them!

 

This started since consoles with ethernet ports. Didn't have this trouble with Atari 2600.

 

If I was the developer. I will get most. If not. All the bugs. if there a bug that hard to fix. And it not game braking. I will release the game. While work a fix before I ever start my game post launch content. And once that fix. I will bring out the
content I have promise the gamers of before the launch of the said game.

 

As long as people keep preordering and numbers are up, why would they feel the need to finish a game? We have created this whole mess. Us gamers are to blame in my opinion.

 

I still think that the gaming industry is the only industry that I can think of that is able to get away such dreadful consumer service --- and we put up with it!!!!! Most of the time these companies have huge budgets and really skilled teams working for
them, but they still manage to release software that is not suitable for release. I don't understand how theyy are allowed to get away with it and how they don't seem to feel embarrassed by the whole thing.

I take massive pride in my work and I would NEVER be satisfied with providing a product that is not fit for purpose.

I feel that the people at the top of these companies should be held accountable and should change their attitude towards the way that they operate.
