    Who Else Feels Xbox One Should Backwards Compatible Older Forza Games?


    I think that it would be totally awesome if Microsoft would get the Forza Motorsport series backwards compatible for the Xbox One. I have multiple Forza games for the Xbox 360. However, I will be upgrading to the Xbox One sometime soon. But I don't have
    enough room for an Xbox One and a 360, so the 360 will have to go. But I have so many games for the 360. When the 360 goes, so does all the money I paid for all the games for it. I know that not all the games I own would be backwards compatible because some
    of the older games aren't played as much by people. Not only that but people gravitate towards war games so they would be more likely to be backwards compatible whereas a racing game such as Forza Horizon would not be. I'm just putting it out there that it
    would be nice for games like these to be backwards compatible. Just food for thought.

    Forza Horizon 2 Xbox One/360 help

    Forza Horizon 2 isn't backwards compatible so in that case no , I don't know if it ever will become backwards compatible as it's already got an Xbox One version but even if it did I'm not sure he could race his friends who are on the 360

    Forza Horizon 3 is released soon I think end of September time

    Xbox One Disc reading issue

    My one year old Xbox one doesn't read any backwards compatible Xbox 360 discs, spins for 2 seconds and stops , doesn't even attempt to spin , and then it will not eject , all games tried are backwards compatible. Xbox one discs read and spin with no issues,
    has anybody else experienced this problem ?

    https://xbox.uservoice.com/forums/298503-backward-compatibility    , search for the title(s) that you want to see added to the Backward Compatibility program and add your vote. That site is where the folks who are attached to the BC program take note of the
    demand for older games.

    If your games of interest are not already on the list, then feel free to start a new request.

    MULTIPLAYER Xbox ONE vs. Xbox360

    As Smwutches already said, Xbox One versions of games can't play Multiplayer with Xbox 360 versions of the game.

    However, since the Xbox One is gradually getting Xbox 360 backwards compatible titles, some original Xbox 360 games can run on the Xbox One, and then the Xbox 360 and the emulated Xbox 360 games on the One can play together.

    FIFA 16 and 17 are NOT backwards compatible games, so they don't work across Xbox One and Xbox 360.

    Forza 5 and 6 don't exist on the Xbox 360. Forza 5 and 6 doesn't work with the Xbox 360 Forzas 2, 3 and 4.

    Later this year, the Xbox 360 Halo games will be made backwards compatible (there has not been a set release date yet). But currently HALO: REACH works on the Xbox One already, so your sons could at least play HALO: REACH with each other.

    And as Smileskybird said, in the (not too distant) future, Minecraft should allow cross platform multiplayer. But currently it's not possible.

    So to sum it up: Check this list here for games that your kids can play together on the Xbox 360, and the Xbox One through backwards compatibility:
