Who do I keyboard on xbox gamebar?

We understand that you are having issues using 8bitdo Ultimate Controller on Xbox game app. As per description, you believe that this is an issue with Game bar overlay, and you wanted it to be disabled.

Let us check on this together and sort this out to assist your concern. However, before we proceed, we would like to ask few questions about it.

1. May we confirm if you are on PC and what is the current version and edition of Windows Installed? (Search for WINVER in Windows search to see this)
   
2. Are you trying it on steam?
   
3. Have you tried using 8bitdo Ultimate Controller to another app?
   
4. Was this the process that you tried to turn off game bar?
   

Under “Xbox Game Bar” settings,

click the switch “Enable Xbox Game Bar” until it is turned off.

This disables the Xbox Game Bar.

Close settings and try pressing Windows+G, to see if there's a pop up

So do with Xbox button on an Xbox controller, nothing will happen.

i do feel that gamebar is a beta sometimes haha. you can always do everything on your xbox console companion and it will work directly with gamebar aswell.

Open Gamebar open Gamebar Widget Menu and add "Looking for group". Done.

Open Console Companion and do like always. Done

Don't open Xbox App because Xbox App is not Gamebar nor Companion.

Puppy Fujo is correct with this, there is no battery level indicator. If you want one though, then make a post on the xbox feedback website xboxideas.uservoice.com or leave feedback on the gamebar app by pressing the windows key & g on the keyboard, and
select settings cog icon, and select leave game bar feedback.
