Who do i contact about tech support breaking my system with there advice?

hey all i'm posting here first time for me but wondering who I can email about my issue. my issue is I could not log into xbox live today so I purchased 1 yr sub but could not get on to live. Every thing else worked dash board offline games etc. Internet
was not issue. SoI had call tech support. During my conversation with tech support I followed the instruction given to me which they had me factory reset my system. after doing so it makes you reset up console like when you first purchase. as I proceeded with
set up I got an error code on update. at some point I lost contact with the tech support I was talking to so I had to call again. once I had got new tech they had me do the "safe mode " like set up power down console unplug for 30 sec press and hold both eject
and sync button to pop up addition options. they had me down load the offline system update file from site to thumb drive and do a offline update to fix well it didn't work so I called again and the only option is to send system in to fix which is out of
warranty and ill have to pay to fix. All in all I had a system that worked but I couldn't log into live before I called tech support to a broken system I have to pay to fix and kinda peed that they wont do anything.

What error codes do you specifically get?

Maybe we can help you further if we know what error code the console throws at you?

I am not recommending to do this.

But the only way that I would see being able to do this is to open up the xbox console remove the HDD hook it up to your computer Format it then put the HDD back into the console put it back together and then do the offline system update.

So during the offline update about 87% then it goes to set up the language country net work update at that point it is searching for update does not start an update I just get the error code
