white sign soapstoned to darkroot garden... from anor londo?

Was waiting for someone to take my soapstone sign in front of Ornstein and Smough and i got summoned... but not to that boss fight. I somehow got summoned to the darkroot garden... IN LORDRAN!! Can someone explain to me exactly HOW that happened (aside the
fact i am in the forest hunter covenant with the ring equipped, but i didn't invade)

Well if im not mistaken as a member of the forest Hunters covenant you whouldent have to invade to get summond to other Worlds. You'll get summond to fend of other invaders in the darkrootgarden. Kill them before they reach the boss, and earn something?
Eventually youre rewarded with a valuable ring I think?Sorry its all a bit blurry to me by now im afraid

 

No I meant summoned as a phantom, not a dark spirit. The soapstone glitched again also with me invading someone's world as a red phantom (even though the soapstone was white... the ring wasn't equipped that time and i was sure i used the white sign stone
as the sign was white)

 

Yes, this is a glitch that happens from time to time.

 

You think teleporting from anor londo to darkwood gardens is a weird glitch? I activate the blue eye orb in darkroot gardens and it occasionally turns me into a dark spirit instead of a spirit of vengeance. XD

 

You are a spirit of vengeance. It just says you are a dark spirit, but the difference is that if the host dies it will say "The guilty pay the price. Returning with Souven"ear" of Reprisal". An easy way to thwart gankers in the forest who spam indictments
if you are one of Gwyndolin's "Cops". Oh, and don't get on in Brazzer (Anor) Londo

 

@ReaperCE I probably wasn't clear in my previous comment. When I said I spawned as a Dark Spirit while using the blue eye orb in darkroot garden, my character spawns as a black and red phantom and not a black and blue phantom. I also receive humanity instead
of a ear of reprisal due to the weird glitch. It seems only the forest past the sealed gate is affected by the bug. I occasionally spawn as a black phantom and red when using the white soap stone and the text "you are being summoned as a dark spirit" shows
up when someone summons me via my sign. I see both bugs as something hilarious due to it's random occurrences.

As for the gankers, 3 scrolls of Wrath of the Gods & 4 scrolls of Great Combustion owns them all. XD

 

oh, that. Dang darkwraiths want us to join so bad that they mess up the soapstones and orbs. did it to me in Anor Londo! I'm wondering did you ever see that movie (and figure out why that if you see an active GL in anor londo, KILL HIM?!)?

 

I saw that video. I have to say that of all the playthroughs I've done in Dark Souls (NG+5 right now currently dealing with the Bed of Chaos), I have only been hit by an active gravelord twice. Both occurring inside the church in the undead parish. I have
never been GL'd in Anor Londo though now I now look ahead before leaping into the city looking for BP sentinels or BP silver knights as a precaution. Btw, your GT looks familiar to me. I believe I may have invaded you before when I was part of the darkwraith
covenant two months ago. I could be mistaken and it was you that invaded me though. XD

 

Currently experimenting with OnlyAfro's Bass Cannon (Giant Dad), and that build is OVERPOWERED (nearly one-shotted a guilty and his phantom with that +16 humanity +5 Chaos zweihander). Right now I'm in the Darkmoons spamming that blue eye in the forest.
Normal build for that covenant is really Oswald (dang Dark Bead shotgun) or Gwyndolin himself.

 

Funny thing happened about 30 minutes ago. I got GL'd in the tomb of the giants. I was thinking of the Mr. Bones Wild ride with BP giant skeletons murdering me before I can get to the bonfire. The weird thing is, I never saw any BP skeletons at all. I'm
guessing gravelord servants can't infect the tomb with BP skeletons even though the message saying "Disasters are gone after the defeat of the gravelord servant" still appears. Btw, I punished another sinner in the darkgardens about 5 minutes ago. He was dealing
with a dark wraith as I was invading, so I let them continue to fight it out since I despise ganking. I killed the sinner using the True Great Sword of Artorias holding with both hands after he killed the dark wraith by spamming WotG. By the power of the darkmoon,
I hereby cleanse thy sinner!!! Praise the Darkmoon!!!

FYI, after 10 held humanities, you don't get any more damage increase on your chaos weapons.

Tomb of the Giants certainly can be infected, and it is not particularly pleasant, as there are black phantom giant skellies and skelly dogs. You can't be infected in NG, however, so if you were playing on an NG character, that would explain why you didn't
run into any black phantoms. Also, you can be connected to a gravelord and have the chance to invade that gravelord without having your world be infected, which would also explain the message.

I'm at NG+5 right going on to NG+6 now with +250 SL. I searched the entire tomb as a precaution yet, i didn't see either the skeleton beasts or the skeleton archers as black phantoms. I can only assume the black phantoms were located inside the sarcophagus
where the ember is located in which I didn't bother to investigate.
