    White Screen - GFX lag spike


    Hi! I forgot my admin password to my gaming laptop & so I had it reset. My data has been transferred over but now I get a lag spike when gfx increases a bit, this lag spike, freezes my entire laptop for 1 sec & screen turns black (loading an app or something) and then closes it & returns to normal, leaving me with a white screen for a game I play. (The game remains running & sound is working, but the screen for me is white. (For recording software, the screen is perfectly fine.)

    I believe this is due to a program being left running on my laptop that wasn't successfully removed after re-installation.

    Hello Captain, when you say you did a reset, you perfome a format the PC, delete all data and the system and do a clean installation of Windows?

    If you do not have the ideal would be to do this, and after reinstalling the system, install the "Drivers" that comes with the Laptop Gamer and update them.

    You'll know when LC kicks in as it will always show in WTF fire fights.

    LC kicks in when lag occurs and smooths out game play ie lag spikes in game and only works on active on screen items like player movement/nads an other things that show on screen.

    -

    This is what causes the bullet lag as not every bullet is shown on screen just the tracers.

    Exactly...I'd rule out the game itself before blaming the hardware. Could be the game is switching servers and putting the OP in one on the other side of the world for example
