    While Playing on either xbox or remote play, game freezes and shows a black screen


    tried hard reset, hdmi port and cable change, network port change, resolution change(essentially all fixes I could have found) and nothing has changes. Today it has happened twice in the span of 5 Fifa matches for example.

    On remote play when it happens while playing, first the screen freezes( sound plays in the background) and then when I reopen it, it's a black sreen

    yes, I've done a hard reset. And it's not a game issue because it happened in 2 games I opened

    Sorry to hear you have an issue with this. Have you tried doing a reset, keeping games and apps? Is the game installed on console storage or do you have an external drive?

    How long have you had it for? Is it just one game or all/most of them?

    Having same issue, none of the workaround steps are working for me either. Just constant black screens and freezing.

    I am:

    1. Powering on xbox with autosave enabled or disabled.

    2. Trying to play a game connected or not to xbox live.

    3. Getting nothing but a black screen.

    4. Pushing my middle button, then anything except "Turn off Console", freezes the console.
