    Which version is outdated and why can't we update to the newest one?


    My family and I have been playing minecraft just find together until 2 days ago. We keep getting the "outdated client" message. My minecraft is 1.19.20. My family's is 1.19.10. Thats the only difference we have come up with. Is one out of date enough they won't play together????? What's going on?

    So, I believe that I figured out the problem. My wired controller is on old firmware aka outdated. However, I can't update it to the newest one for some reason.

    Same, I have the same exact Problem I try and play on a YT's Realm and it say's Outdated Client You need to be on Version 1.16.210 but when i try and install Updates it says that im on the Newest Version?!?!?!? BTW Im stuck on Version 1.16.201

    I'd hate to ask here every time I suspect I have an outdated version.

    Cannot connect to realm, outdated client.

    The Windows version of the game is outdated at the moment, as the update for the game has been blocked, hence why you get the Outdated Client message. As soon as the update is released, then you will be able to play it.
