  1. Which is better? Network Transfer or re-installing each game that I owned on Series X

    Hello,

I recently set up a Xbox Series X with everything going perfectly: Thanks to the short and simple guide that is included.

And so I started doing the Network Transfer process whereby I thought it was a good idea before starting it (after reading about it online and from other players and tech experts). However, it seems to be taking longer than expected as games between 20-50gbs are taking up to 6 hours to be transferred.

And so I was thinking maybe it was not a good idea to do a Network Transfer if my internet is not great or the connection between the Xbox One and Series X is not good despite them being in close proximity.

But I thought maybe it is down to transferring a lot of games at one time or should I cancel the process altogether and just re-install each and every game at my own time and hope that each one can re-sync to the Xbox Network or The Cloud and allow me to continue where I left off.

So, my question is, which is best:

    1. Continue the Network Transfer process that is still going?

    2. Or should I cancel and just re-install one at a time from the Owned Games Tab and hope that it will continue my progress that I left off from the Xbox One?

    Many thanks,

    :)

If it's going slow through a network transfer, it'll also go slow having to reinstall each game. So it's up to you if you want to start over or just let the transfer finish.

Regardless of how you transfer them, your saves are stored on the cloud and will resync when you start the games. How you transfer the games themselves has no effect on that.

With Network transfer it doesn't matter what your Internet is, your issue is likely that you're using Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi is not appropriate for large file transfers, as it adds a gigantic amount of latency to the process. it doesn't matter if they're an inch apart, it's the nature of the technology

Black Ops Cold War -Ray Tracing and HD Assets not downloading

I own the digital x/s version and had it installed (with HD assets) on the series s back in dec, just bought a series x this week transfered my games over looking forward to turning on raytracing to find it nowhere to be downloaded not on the install files or anything. Weirdly though I do have the install of HD assets still but that may have been from transfer between consoles instead of downloading it from the Internet.

    Xbox series X/Xbox one

I cant find anything online that is this specific. I just wanted to ask if the owners account library will be fully transferable from xbox one to the xbox series x. Honestly this will be a deciding factor on wether i buy it or build a lynux gaming
    pc.
Your entire account will be transferred from Xbox One to Xbox Series X when you sign in on Xbox Series X, you just may have to download and install the games again that you have, you wont need to buy the game again as you already own them.

Bare in mind, if you want to go for a gaming PC and are looking to match or get the same spec's and performance as the Xbox Series X or better, you'd be looking at a price of around £2000 give or take.

If you got the Xbox One or Series S/X, then in order for each person to have their own progress they would each need their own account which would require and email address for each one.
