    Microsoft supports

    VISA, Mastercard, AMEX (and Discover in the US)

    Or you can use PayPal which is available in India to send payment to Microsoft.

    as long as it is a credit card it should work if you get a error code just go to xbox live to add the credit card

    You need a credit card or Paypal in order to purchase backwards compatible content on the One. A debit card would be seen as credit.

    Funds from an Xbox gift card will not work on the One, but will work if you make the purchase from a 360 console.

    i'm not familiar with exactly the rules and regulations of mobile payments especially in the UK, but if it works just like a credit card, then they are your credit card company and the ones you need to call

    They are the ones billing you on behalf of Xbox.

    I believe you need billing details from the region your xbox account is in, so you would need a credit card from where you have moved to which is why your original one isn't working.
