Hi,

You don't need to worry about what HDMI your TV has. An Xbox One X connected to Full HD display will still perform to the fullest on your TV. only it will downscale 4K enhanced games to 1080P using it's own 'Super Sampling technology. Enhanced games will
still play and look better on your One X console compared to an original Xbox One or One S hooked up to a Full HD display.

And when you upgrade to the Full 4K experience, you'll get the full resolution of enhanced games plus HDR. Like others have said, you don't need to buy a 4K display to experience the One X.

 

Which xbox to choose

Hello everyone, I want to buy an Xbox one, my preference is of course to the Xbox One X, but my TV is an Full HD with hdmi 1.4.

I strongly hesitate between One S and One X, knowing that it is not impossible that I invest in a 4K TV in the next years.

Is my tv just able to use a One X or even a One S?

I'd go with the Minecraft one since it has the larger hard drive.

Cant understand people coming on to these forums and asking people "What should I buy?"

We don't know you, we don't know what you like or dislike, why are you putting the decision onto people that you don't know?

Psychologists would possibly say that you don't want to make the decision, and that in your mind, if you give the decision to someone else and its the wrong decision, then its not your fault you wasted roughly $270 its the fault
of whoever made the decision...............Just saying.

 

I`d choose the Minecraft Edition as it has the bigger HDD and I don`t like white consoles.

 

Go with the Minecraft one. Reasons why:

1: x2 more storage than the 500GB, and the size of games and updates on XB1 is H-U-G-E. Monthly updates average 250MB, Forza 5 is 35GB. Just to get an idea.

2: More value for dollar. With the Minecraft, you get TWO times more storage space, and A STAND, for only $30 more.

Yes Xbox One has external HDD support. But it just saves attaching an external USB HDD which takes up MORE SPACE rather than buy a same size console with more juice and more storage and space saving. I know.... manufacturers are OBSESSED with making things
in Black (except Apple). But Black is ok.
