    250GB HDD to 320GB HDD

    The Data Tranfer Cable will not transfer data from one Slim HDD to another Slim HDD.

    Yes that will work fine.

    You will need to use an official MS tranfer cable to move your data over to the new units HDD.

    (3rd party transfer cables can have issues and you may lose everything on the HDD, so its worth buying the official version).

    What kind of music? Music you ripped from CD to the drive, or things like Rock Band tracks?



    I just ripped a CD to one of my consoles and then connected a drive and transfer cable. I see the option to tranfer all music when I elect to set up a transfer from the console to the transfer cable device.

    Ive also had this problem, i bought a xbox HDD and when i go to transfer data an error comes up sayin it cannot be correctly formated, it may be somthing to do with my tranfer cable or do i need a disc in the xbox tray to format the HDD first.
