Thanks so much for replying and keeping us updated on your needs. Insofar as the Adaptive controller is concerned with additional buttons/switches, you would just need to add the ones that best suit your needs for usage based on your abilities.

Regarding what buttons to push, the controller is capable of having the functionality of each button/switch designated for whatever specific usage that you wish to assign it. On the long side of the adaptive controller are ports for connecting your control
button/switch to certain functions or buttons corresponding to the Xbox One wireless controller's buttons and functions. Essentially, you have the capability to map out a configuration to make the most of gaming in a way that is compatible to your own unique
needs. It's pretty magical, really!

You use the A button to confirm things on Xbox, either the one you have a switch plugged into the the back of the adaptive controller, or on a standard one.

So yeah, I looked into this, and it seems that you can't map switch to be used for multiple buttons at once.

You do have the option to map
something to be used as Shift if you want to switch between two buttons on the fly for one switch, though I don't think that's exactly what you're looking for it to do.

If you are not using a controller adapter than go in to configure on the opinions (pressing the middle xbox button)menu and you will find a switch with the main mic control make sure that it is on and try again
