    Hello all!

    I am currently not able to launch and play Jedi Fallen order on Steam.. When I click play I am getting the error

    "The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140_1.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem"

    So, I did that and it did not fix the problem. A quick google search led to a ton of non specific answers all telling me to reinstall vc studios redistributables. I downloaded an all in one from their website and everything except for vcredist2015_1017_2019_x64.exe
    installed no problem.

    When installing vcredist2015_1017_2019_x64.exe I am bet with the error:

    "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.

    Click OK to try again or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'vc_runtimeminimum_x64.msi' in the box below.

    I tried to solve this issue by creating the folder with all proper files myself using the exact source path listed in the error window however this was unsuccessful as well.

    When I close out this window, a second error comes up saying

    "the older version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 X64 Minimum Runtime - 14.27.29016 cannot be removed"

    There was no previous version installed before that moment. I went through the control panel and made sure that all years and versions of VC were removed before installing the all in one package in hopes that it would clear any corrupted files.

    After hitting okay on this window I am taken back to the installation window where it now says

    set up failed and gives me a log file to view, which is useless cuz it's all gibberish to me lol the error is as follows:

    "0x80010643 - Fatal error during installation"

    and uh, I guess here's the log:

    Fallout 4 and New vegas won't work on PC gamepass

    Hi-

    I am also having trouble running Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 4 on PC.

    I get two error messages, saying the files MSVCP140.dll and VCRUNTIME140_1.dll cannot be found, and then another error message from Xbox PC saying the game has crashed. This happens with both games.

    I updated my computer and the graphics card driver and I reset the store cache. The games won't run in administrator mode.

    Any other suggestions? Windows 11, and Xbox store says the games "should play great on this PC".

I had this issue around a year ago. I could tell you all the 10 steps I followed to solve it, unfortunately what helped me to solved this was to restart my PC as it comes here:
