Where is located the Xbox (beta) PC launcher ?

Hey guys,

I would like to set-up a macro in order to quickly launch the XBOX (beta) PC launcher but I was unable to find the launcher .exe.

I did all the set-up to access to WindowsApp folder but do someone know where to find the launcher .exe?

(I'm speaking of the launcher and not the games themselves)

Hi I have found a Workaround:

A easy to fix this is to goto system- then storage- and under the storage tab find " change where new content is saved" then select "new apps will save to" and select your preferred storage drive.

Then uninstall your xbox (beta) app, and reinstall it. It should be now at the preferred storage drive.

Hi Prm47,

sorry I can not tell you the directory but via "Settings/Apps & Features" you can add it to the taskbar and the start menu. You can also put it in your autostart!

Thanks for your answer but in order to create a macro, the exact directory is needed.

I had no problem at all with locating the directory of steam, epic, battlenet, uplay launchers directory but not for the Xbox pc app which is really weird in my opinion.

I'm really surprised because it should normally be really easy to find.

When I use the Xbox Beta App installer, where does it install that app to?

I want to find where the XBox Beta App exe is located.

In theory you'd be able to delete any files that would already have installed if you knew where the launcher installs games to, in the Xbox (beta) app, if you click on your profile picture it will show you the default installation location, might be an
idea to try there & see if you can delete the files to try & reinstall them.
