Where is 1 year xbox live gold membership reward?

Hello,

I saved 29,000 rewards for quite some time to get a 1 year xbox live gold membership. It was my stated goal. I've done it every year, I finally reached that goal today, but the reward disappeared. In it's place is a $3 Microsoft gift card for 2,900 points
which I was supposed to get as a freebie.

How can this be? It's not easy to control myself and save 29,000 points. IS there some mistake?
