Where do party invites go?

Okay so when I get a party invite and I retardedly miss it ... where does it go?!

How can I view party invites that I've received other than when they appear on the screen?

They're not in messages?!

Invites Only

Why is it when a party is on Invites Only, people can still join through our profiles? With the Xbox 360 when a party host puts a party on Invites Only the Join Party option vanishes from everyone's profile that is in the party. With the Xbox One, everyone
has Join in their profile where the Invites Only parties are still open as in Joinable where people are still joining through anyone's profile where random people are still joining.

 

Achievements not popping up when unlocked

I still get things like game invites and party invites so I assume notifications are on, but where exactly do you go to change that setting? I'll try changing it off then on just in case.

 

Go to the home screen, at the top left there is 2 boxes one on the left is your notifications like party invites the other is your profile info. Click on the left one.

 

For COD I think you can also get them by going to friends (Y button) and then hit whatever they call the start button now. Not sure if that's right but I've been able to pull up the invites without going back to the home screen.

this^ learning the commands is a big step in navigating the system. over time it'll become second nature
