    I think this is something the Warframe developer would have to do, not Microsoft.

    On a side note, nothing has been confirmed or even hinted at, but i think Warframe would be a great candidate for cross platform play (now that PlayStation is opening up to cross plat and Warframe is releasing on Switch). And if that happened, i think there'd
    be reason for them to allow account transfer.

    As of right now, you cannot play together, even on realms. Buying the switch version won't help. However, this summer there is an update called 'Better Together' that features cross-platform play, and xbox, switch, ipad, android, and windows 10 will all
    be able to play together. No release date yet, just 'summer'.
