    Where do i get a Intellectual Property proof of permission


    Hello. I'm an app developer publishing apps on the PlayStore.

    However Google keeps rejecting my app because they want me to send them a document to verifiy that i have proof for use of brandmark in the apps description.

    I've send link for brand guide lines wich allows using brands from Microsoft under certain conditions wich i fulfilled, but Google does not seem to care about that.

    Now i want to know where i have to go or where i can contact Microsoft to buy Intellection Property proof of permission.

    Please help me out i'd be grateful.

    I'm also sorry if i posted in the wrong category.

    Hi there,

    One of the rules users agree to in the
    Code of Conduct     is that they are not going to use someone's intellectual property with out the owner's permission.

    "Don’t pirate or use another’s content without permission. For example, don’t:

    • Use another’s intellectual property without permission (e.g., copyrights, trade secrets)"

    This would include 1980's movie posters as they are not yet in public domain. You'll have to wait 70 years after the creator's death before it will reach public domain.

    Because I believe in fairness where it's due, I felt I should come back here with an update. Recently, the artist has reported that
    "Disruptive Publishers reached out to [her] and will be compensating [her] for all sales earned from the assets and has pulled the items."

    Kudos to them for stepping up and doing the right thing here.

    More of a heads up , you might be out of luck playing Quantum Break even if you purchased it

    Microsoft is not on the music or whatever intellectual property is causing the issue. This is the same reason why sports games, Forza, and other titles that use third-party intellectual property get removed from the store.

    They don't have a choice.

    just to expand, if a game is based off movies, music, sports, or any kind of exterior intellectual property, expired licenses are usually the very first reason. they cannot give permission for new versions to be made which is legally what backwards compatibility is.
