    Where did the Party Chat Mixer go for Xbox One?


    Hi Sir,

    I have same issue and found that all/80%/50%/nothing on chat mixer setting doesn't function.

    So just the audio option can adjust the audio balance between gaming and chatting?

    Hello Jousma

    I have found the audio option shows up on certain headsets. For example I have a Microsoft chat headset that it wont show up for . But I have a pair of earbuds and audio shows for them. I suggest try different headset to see if can get it to show adjust
    what you like then switch to the one that it wasn't showing for.

    Where did the Party Chat Mixer go for Xbox One?

    Hello YoungWu,

    Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. The Chat mixer has been move following a past update. It has been relocated to the Guide menu.

    Open the Guide menu by pressing the Xbox button. After that, scroll all the way to the right to the settings tab. If you have your mic plugged in, then you will see the audio option there.

    Hey there.

    Open the Xbox Guide by pressing the Xbox button on your controller.

    On the last tab on the right, you have "Audio".

    Click on it and you should be able to see the settings for your controller Where did the Party Chat Mixer go for Xbox One? :)

    Where did the Party Chat Mixer go for Xbox One?

    As best I can tell, the Chat Mixer effects how loud your TV is while in party chat, but it doesn't seem to do anything for headsets.

    Hi Young Wu,

    To answer your question, yes the stereo headset adapter can be used on the 1st generation Xbox One controller. The headset adapter can be used for pretty much any Xbox One controller because the port is located at the bottom of every controller.

    The first generation controllers don't have the 3.5 mm port for audio jacks so only headsets with the adapter can be used for those controllers.

    Beexcellent Gaming Headset, the same headset I was using when the option was there before, and (at the time) I was using the same controller when I noticed the option to adjust the party and game volumes was gone.

    Edit - I looked at the wrong box and put a different headset than what it actually was.
    Sorry for the later reply ive been on vacation. Have you attempted to use a different controller/headset. It could be the headset or the port on your controller is faulty

    Are you using a 3.5mm jack headset? There is an audio setting that appears when you plug one in and the controller detects it on the settings tab of the Guide.
