where can I get a diagram indicating what the ports on rear of controller, and keys on top do?

any car in the dealership (not your (or club) garage) will be stock. there is a diagram of a car in the upper right. engine, drive train, and powered wheels will be highlighted (so look for a front engine, RWD car).

apparently I love parentheses.. . anyway, practice on Aston v8 you built! the key will be getting enough speed going into the corner then gently playing with the throttle to set the rear wheels spinning.

if you really want I can tell you how to get more grip to the rear wheels, but it will take away from the front grip and responsiveness which is what's important. the fact the rear breaks loose easily is OK, staying ahead of it will come down to counter
steering (front end) and lifting off the gas.

The USB ports where you plug a wired controller into (both front and back). The controller connector is keyed so that it is only possible to connect one way. The opening on a wired controller must be in the top so that the console connector key would slide
into it. The dimension pad does not have that opening but a white piece. I think it has always been there but not sure since I never had an issue connecting the two together.

No limit what so ever if you have a cable box or a set top box with USB ports on it you can draw power from those as well. Provided your provider has not blocked access to them.

I have noticed that my phone charges faster via the front USB ports and the rear ports charge slower. none the less I wouldn't be concerned if you do not notice any drop of performance.

Turns out it had something to do with the usb port, I play wired and had my controller plugged into the front port, I switched to a rear port now everything is back to normal. Solved!

RedSVO, it is actually not extremely unlikely that all the USB ports would stop working at the same time. They are likely all driven by a central control chip.

Having said that, have you tried all 3 ports, or just the front two? The front two are definitely on the same control, and are likely powered by the same connection, whereas the rear one is probably powered from the same area as the rear ports.

I wouldn't worry about it frying anything else. It could be an indicator of impending hardware failure, but I've seen USB plugs fry on regular computers with no ill effects to the rest of the motherboard, so I'd probably not worry too much. They are fairly
self contained.

Out of curiosity, what kind of iPod is it? If it's an iPod Shuffle that gets powered and read through the headphone jack, they have a tendency to fry USB ports, as there is a high likelihood of a short when plugging into that tiny 1/8th inch jack.
