    The servers aren't shutting down. Only the marketplace is shutting down. So as long as you buy the games you want before that happens, you can still download them afterwards.

    I hear that 360 Xbox live is shutting down this year.

    There has been no official announcement stating the 360 servers are shutting down this year. Until there is an announcement made, we won't know how games will react once the servers are shut down.

    For the record, Hyper is discussing my server. And no, we ONLY kick for the three things he listed, and none of them will get the server shut down. How do I know? Because my other owner spent the afternoon on the phone with EA and they said so...

    Xbox Live 360 Servers Shutdown Question.

    It won't shut down for a while. The backwards compat games on the one still use the xbox 360 servers. They have future releases for the backwards yet. If they shut down the servers, we lose all these backwards compat games as well. Some game developers might
    shut down their servers, like older sports games from like 5 years ago do not have active servers.

    Its had its servers shut down for some time now. Its a EA game they shut servers down once a games population reachable a low level.
