Where are the simple games that came with earlier versions of Windows?

    Where are the simple games that came with earlier versions of Windows?


    I've just upgraded to Windows 10 and find the simple games included with earlier versions are not there.

    I just want Spider Solitaire and Freecell. I've found the Store, and apparently installed the free Solitaire collection, but it looks very different and does not seem to work. I'd been working my way through Freecell, choosing the game number, but this
    facility does not appear to work. I can enter the required game number, but clicking Play does nothing.

    Can I get the simple games?

    Or how do I make the stuff I've got actually work? Is it because I got the free version?

    Edit:

    I'm also confused as to the Xbox titling. I'm not a gamer, I understood Xbox to be a console, so why is it all over this stuff? Confusing.

    BF3 vs. BC2

    I miss Modern Combat and BC1 the most to be honest. BC2 and BF3 are great games, but I had a lot more fun with the earlier versions. Simpler gameplay. More balanced kit makeups and maps that were fun with 24 players. This game feels too big for
    a console.

    It's possible that your saved game from newer versions of the game cannot be used with earlier versions.

    that is for older games that came out before windows 10 or designed for 7 and earlier.

    Try rolling back the latest Windows update. How to roll back Windows 10 to an earlier version of Windows
    To revert to a previous version of Windows, do the following:


    If your computer is unplugged, be sure to plug it into the wall outlet and click Next.

    Click Start and type "recovery".

    Select Recovery Options (System Configuration).

    Under Recovery, select Back to Windows [X], where [X] is the previous version of Windows.

    Select a reason for the rollback, then click Next.

    Click Back to Windows [X].

    Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the rollback.
    When the rollback is complete, the computer will boot to the previous version of Windows. If you used a password to log in on the previous version of Windows, you will need that password to log in.
