Where and how are people viewing my game captures?

y0ungc0mrade · Dec 23, 2022

I have noticed that sometimes I will recieve views and likes on game captures that I did not share. These are captures that are uploaded to the xbox network, but were never shared anywhere (not on my activity feed, clubs, social media, private messages, etc). I don't mind people seeing my captures, but I would like to know where and how exactly they are finding and viewing them, since I can't seem to find a straight answer on the subject anywhere. Thank you!

Hi y0ungc0mrade

Greetings!

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community. We are happy to help.

For me to better understand the issue, I’d like to ask a few questions:

Can you please provide us a screenshot of the "views" you have received? Please conceal any sensitive info.
Are you playing on Xbox console, mobile or PC?

I want to give you some troubleshooting steps or answer right now. However, first of all, we may have to wait for the above responses to ensure that we understand your concerns correctly and that we can provide the necessary information.

We look forward to your reply.

Sincerely

simple, if they are on the xbox network then anyone can see clip via this site

Xbox Clips - View your xbox clips, Xbox game clips, and screenshots. The best xboxclips website! Better than XboxClips.com

How do i see if the game capture are saved to xbox live and how to find my account info everytime i go to click my account to view that stuff it just loads forever

With no thanks to Xbox staff, i figured it out.

There is no more upload. It's simply renamed Game DVR.

That is where you can simply view your captures/clips.
