Whenever I’m in a party I can’t hear game audio, when I leave it starts working again.

Unfortunately, none of these answers fixed this for me. Update though: looks like I can hear everything the other people in my Fortnite party is saying, they just can’t hear me. The weirder thing is, when I squad up with randos, the mic works just fine.
I can hear them and they can hear me. Again, same thing when I’m in an Xbox Live party. The only thing that doesnt work is my mic when I’m in a regular Fortnite party (not in an Xbox Live party).

Sorry to hear it. Please go to Settings>Volume & Audio Output>Chat Mixer and set it to Reduct the volume of other sounds by 50%

Didn’t work but thanks. Still doing it. Again I can’t hear the echo, only others in the party. If they speak quietly, doesn’t seem to happen. Haven’t got it coming through the tv and it’s a chat headset like I said, so it’s not like I’m using it for game sound.

I also have the same issue with the Xbox app where you can’t hear anyone in a party until you start talking then I can hear others. When I’m not talking, I don’t hear anyone even though I see their circle glow up indicating that they’re talking.

It helped, for the most part, for MW2 but not Warzone 2.

The fix I have in MW2 keeps it from disconnecting, however if I’m on the game for a more than an hour, it cuts in and out. Which doesn’t make any sense, and I can’t figure out how to fix that.

I cannot, however, use it in Xbox chat. As soon as I connect to the party chat, I will have about 10 minutes of game and chat audio, then the game chat immediately cuts out. And that’s on both games.

I’m still able to hear my team when that happens, but the game is completely muted.

All in all, doesn’t fully work, but it helps. I would avoid party chat if you can.
