    Whenever I plug in a cable into my Xbox controller it doesn’t work. It works if I wobble the cable around but it still disconnects sometimes when I move or sit it down is there a way to fix this?

    there is no way to fix this, the solder points have been broken

    Same result. It doesn’t work. I can plug in my regular controller and it works fine. It just doesn’t work on the elite 2 controller.

    Sorry for the frustration. What troubleshooting steps have you completed? Whenever my mic isn't working, I connect my controller to my xbox via usb cable and perform a controller update. When did this problem start to happen? Also, is your xbox plugged
    into a outlet manager/ surge protector? The xbox one has problems with microphones if it's not plugged into the wall outlet directly.

    So the controller works fine the cable I mean when plugged into my laptop so I know the cable works. Now on the series x all 3 ports don’t work with this cable but work fine with my headset plug in.

    I tried this but it didn’t work whenever I plug it in if my controller ever does stay on it barely works and it moves a lot on its own. Everything works fine when it’s not plugged in.
