    Whenever i join my friends xbox party on the app on computer, a really loud annoying sound plays. Even if i manually mute my mic it still plays, so it has something to do with the app itself. Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

    Microphone has a weird noise according to my friends

    The xbox app is broke as its nothing to do with my microphone as it works on discord but soon as i join a party on the xbox app there is a really loud noise for other people, sounds like a 'air-horn'

    Xbox party chat issues

    Im trying to use party chat on the windows xbox app, but every time i join a party, all my friends can hear is a very loud and constant sound. My mic works with every game i play on my pc, so it isnt that. Ive gone through the audio and microphone settings,
    but there was nothing there to change that would help.

    Have you tried changing audio outputs/devices? Or perhaps muting your friends and seeing what effect that has. Please let me know how these solutions work for you.

    Xbox one party chat low mic volume and people can’t hear each other ?

    Ive done all that the problem is ill join a party with friends and ill talk and no one can hear me until i unpkug my headset and pkug it in until it fixes then at random people will tell me that i sound super quiet and the mic is right next to my face
    . And all my friends have the same problem as well . We will be talking and then their mic will get really quiet and i can barely hear them then it will go super loud or back to normal . Often times i have ti reset my xbox to fix my mic volume its really annoying

    Windows 10 Xbox App Mic makes awful noise when I Join Parties

    I have been experiencing the same exact problem, I can use my mic no problem on Discord but once I join a party on the Windows 10 Xbox app all my friends hear is a loud static noise from me. No solution yet.... ridiculous.

    My biggest gripe really is the lack of notification for a friend getting online. Then I would have to say next is turning party chat on when I join party chat...so annoying.
