    whenever i join a xbox party or discord call on xbox i am automatically disconnected


    this problem has plagued me for over a year, but discoed worked fine up until today so i never put to much time into fixing it, my nat type is open, i have tried with QoS on and off, reset and wiped my xbox but it only fixed it for three days, controller and xbox are both up to date, i am going crazy please help

    Whenever I change my microphone or do something that involves speaking, like joining a call/party, my internet disconnects.

    I am wireless and I cant sadly connect to ethernet as well, the routers downstairs and I'm upstairs,
    I cant join Xbox parties or discord calls/voice chats without disconnecting after, around 3-4 minutes.

    And no it does not disconnect me when I am either streaming on twitch, or recording my voice.

    Been playing now for ~ 30 min. with no disconnect, however whenever I join Xbox Live Party, I lag constantly. Probably separate issue.

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues connecting to discord through your Xbox. For us to further isolate your issue, kindly share the exact error message that you received.

    If you're connected to a Discord voice channel on your Xbox console, your party chat status will say “Discord” and the name of the voice channel that you're in. If you want to join or start an Xbox party chat, disconnect from the Discord voice channel so that you can switch over to game or party chat.
