    being muted for no reason

    Check your voice chat settings in the preferences menu, make sure your mic is on and connected join a party and you should see the icon

    I think this is happening to me. I found a fix for it. Question, do you turn your Xbox one on with voice?

    Me, whenever I turn my xbox one on with voice and then turn my controller on to start or join a party, my mic/headset does not work. However when I turn the xbox on with the controller and then start or join a party, my mic/headset works.

    Yes my kinetic chat is turned off..

    So I tried party chat and it shows that it's picking up my voice whenever I talk. I've also been able to confirm that even though it shows me speaking, nobody online can hear anything I'm saying.

    Guess I'll bring my controllers and headset over to a friend's place and see if I have the same problems there with his system and setup.

    Thanks for the suggestions. Appreciate the help.
