I disabled the USB selective suspend, I have ensured my bluetooth drivers are up to date, I however didn't see anything about the first step you recommended to do with unchecking "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."

I know about it for other devices, such as the USB root hub with power management, but I didn't see it for the bluetooth section. I'll send an image of all the bluetooth options I have, (I looked through each one, I didn't see any with the check box)

and I tested it with disconnecting my mouse and it still did it after disabling the USB selective suspend.

Please disable bluetooth power saving: Go to Device Manager, find your Bluetooth adapter, right-click on it, select Properties, and uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."

And then disable USB Selective Suspend. Press Windows + X and select Power Options. Choose "Change plan settings" for your current power plan, then click on "Change advanced power settings." Under "USB settings," disable "USB selective suspend setting."

Next is to update Bluetooth Drivers. Make sure your Bluetooth drivers are up to date. You can do this through Device Manager or by downloading the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website.

Then check power setings. Go to Settings > System > Power & sleep and make sure your screen and sleep settings are set to "Never" or a longer duration.

After that kindly test on Another Device. Try using your Bluetooth mouse on another computer to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if it's a hardware issue.

Ive been having the same issues with the new controllers that use Bluetooth to connect. I notice more issues when im running/connecting multiple bluetooth devices. But overall the disconnecting happens at random times. Ive just got into the habit of plunging
the controller in whenever i play online multiplayer games. This has happened with the series 1 and 2 elites and the newer generic controllers.

I have the same problem although the game plays fine without bluetooth audio. When a bluetooth audio device either Bose or Turtle beach the game will freeZe and kick me out

Gonna need a more detailed explanation on that one. Bluetooth troubleshoot showed nothing.

1) Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & Other Devices

Find Xbox Wireless Controller and Remove Device.

2) Windows Search > Device Manager > View > Show Hidden Devices

Find "Human Interface Devices" and uninstall the HID-compliant game controller.

*Important to "Show hidden" or you won't find it as the device is disconnected*

'HID-compliant game controller' completely vanishes when you select 'Remove Device' from the Bluetooth & Other Devices menu. It's only there when it's connected.

EDIT: So I uninstalled the HID-compliant game controller before removing the device from the bluetooth menu, connected aaand it's still the '6 axis 16 button gamepad with hat switch'. No change.
