When you resume a game once the game is turned off it freezes and does not respond.

Why don't this game resume when you turn xbox off

does this happen every time you try to turn off your Xbox 360 Console or was it just once or twice? a lot of times if a game freezes and it freezes your entire console you will have to unplug your power source.

The entire system freezes? I've had a couple of GAMES freeze, but the x1 still responds to "xbox go home" "xbox show menu" "quit" to end the frozen game.

I don't think I've cleared the cache since I've bought it. I just "xbox turn off" every night, which puts it in standby. I think it turned itself off completely once to install the update, but I haven't done it myself.

I noticed the same problem on mine, I have my computer attached via HDMI and the picture was freezing... Turns out the problem was that if xbox does not detect any sound coming in from the HDMI in, it freezes the picture. When sound resumes, the picture
resumes as well. So my solution till they fix it is to play a 'silent' wav file in the background on my computer, and the freezing stops.

In 99% of cases, it will resume from where it left. However, once I was downloading Fortnite and the power went off, when it got back, the game resumed the download normally, but when I launched it, it didn't work and I had to redownload the game.
